"Ah!" Lewis shouted as he bolted upright, his fur slick with sweat. The room was dim; the early morning sunlight was creeping in through the blinds, giving the small bedroom an eerie glow to it. The cat rubbed his eyes, and the world came into focus. "Just a dream…thank god." He said as he breathed a loud sigh. Suddenly the door swung open, and in the doorway holding a breakfast tray, was a brown coyote. The coyote stood there in his boxers, with his usual goofy grin, his tail wagging slightly. "Morning beautiful, brought ya breakfast." He said as he placed the tray on Lewis's lap, kissing his cheek as he did so. "Wow, breakfast in bed, I am spoiled." Lewis chuckled. He smiled at the coyote, "so what's the plan for today sweetie?"
"Well, I don't know about you, but some of us have to work! But we do need food, so your job is to go shopping"
"Hmm, I suppose I could do that…" the cat said jokingly. He kissed the coyote lovingly, and stroked his cheek, smiling softly. The coyote giggled and got up and dressed into his suit. "I shall love you and leave you, til later, have a good day hunny." He winked at Lewis and left the house. Lewis sighed contently, and started eating his breakfast. "Damn he can cook, this is amazing. He grabbed the remote control and flicks the television in front of him on. He covered his eyes as a blinding blue light fills the screen. He grabs the dropped remote and changes the channel. "What was that?" he said, rubbing his eyes as he changed back to the other channel, but the bright light was gone. He shook his head and finished his breakfast.

After a refreshing shower and slipping on his clean clothes, he walked outside to the car park at the back of the apartment. He noticed his car was gone, but noticed the coyote's Demio was still parked there. He saw a notice on the windscreen, and picked it up. 'Hey kitten, the car wasn't starting, so I borrowed yours to get to work, I'm sure you can get this old crock going, see you later, I love you xxx' The cat chuckled and placed the note in his jacket pocket. He glanced down at the front of the car and noticed the front of the bulbar was dented. "How he got a driving license is beyond me." After 20 minutes or so, he had the Mazda up and running.

Lewis traipsed around the supermarket looking at all the shelves, not entirely sure what was needed. "Are you alright sir?" Lewis spun round to see a wolf standing there, wearing the supermarkets t-shirt. "Oh, um I'm fine thanks, just browsing." Lewis said as he smiled. The wolf smiled back and placed a comforting paw on the cat's shoulder. "Its going to be alright, you're in safe hands." Lewis looked at the wolf, not sure what he meant. "You will be fine…"
"Umm, thanks…" Lewis said as he slowly walked away, feeling the wolf still looking at him.
Lewis sighed as he climbed into the Mazda, and started the engine. As he did so, the radio came on, but rather than playing music, it sounded like a scanner for the ambulance. "This is unit 26, en route with a pedestrian knocked down, eta 7 minutes." Lewis raises an eyebrow and whacked the CD player, causing it to go silent.

Sliding into bed next to the coyote, the cat yawned loudly. It had been an interesting day to say the least, but he was glad it was over, the shopping had been done, and now he was snuggled up to the love of his life. Things seemed perfect right now. He smiled at the thought and kissed the coyote and then closed his eyes.

"Lewis…please…wake up…"

"Did you say something coyote?"
"No…you're probably hearing things sweetie."
Ooooh, look at me, writing more than once in a day...I don't like it...

Anyways, enjoy the confusion ^^
